Parminder is an English qualified lawyer whose expertise lies in developing in-house policies for specific legal issues, negotiating ISDA documentation including collateral arrangements, commodities, equities, FX, LMA, GMSLA and GMRA’s; as well as communicating with regulators and industry bodies on specific issues. Parminder is entrepreneurial and has created several start-up businesses and is confident in his ability to find innovative but legal solutions to complex issues.

  • Structuring and documenting swap transactions to hedge pension longevity risk.

  • Advising on the mis-selling of derivatives to small and medium-sized enterprises by an international financial Institution and providing a review of the redress and consequential loss for retail clients. 

  • Formulating policy guidance and providing transactional advice for a major bank on its transition from LIBOR to Risk Free Rates. 

  • Advising on how a firm not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority can carry out certain regulated activities using the Appointed Representative route, as well as the criteria that need to be met and the actions that need to be taken.

  • Advising on a corporate acquisition in the home care sector.
